Dearly Beloved: We are gathered here today to join Crate and Barrel and
Daily Candy together in the celebration of all things matrimonial. Together, we honor upcoming unions by giving away an Ultimate Wedding – valued at a whopping $100,000 – to one lucky couple. And to make it even sweeter, this day of perfection will be organized by A-list planner extraordinaire Jo Gartin.
Engaged couples must speak now or forever hold their peace. Enter the contest between February 1, 2010 and March 31, 2010 by registering at Crate and Barrel and telling us about yourselves. Fifty couples will be chosen by the public to move on to the next round – heartfelt declarations, funny stories and grassroots marketing plans are welcome. In April 2010, a panel of Jo Gartin, along with Crate and Barrel and Daily Candy reps, will select the winner. Then the fun and planning with Gartin begins, with the Ultimate Wedding taking place at an agreed-upon date before the end of 2010.
Jo Gartin has planned the nuptials of numerous Hollywood stars, including Kate Walsh and Tori Spelling. Born in New Zealand and raised on the Gold Coast in Australia (with the lovely accent to prove it), Gartin now resides in Los Angeles but has masterminded weddings around the globe. Known for her impeccable style and unique ideas, Gartin has a knack for making her events an extension of the couple’s personalities. Her lavish affairs are featured regularly in InStyle magazine, and she has even written a book on how to make your wedding, well, yours.
