Our love story.
Michael and I were high school friends, lost touch, and got in contact through Facebook after he finished AIT in the Army. He deployed to Iraq in January '09. Instead of a planned trip to Thailand, he decided to come to DC to see me...for the first time in 6 years! Due to finances and military circumstances, we had to have a courthouse ceremony on 12/31/09, with only one friend each present. It would be a dream come true to have assistance in planning the wedding our families and we have been waiting for.
Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.
We want to be surrounded by our closest family and friends in an intimate and romantic setting. I worked as a bridal consultant for two years and really missed out on the chance to find my dream dress. I would LOVE to find something beautiful to wear to feel like a REAL bride. Food and drink are extremely important! I love to cook and we both love wine. So some delicious and unique dishes paired with some fantastic local wines...would be AMAZING.
Our everyday dream day.
My everyday dream day would be one where my husband was home and not deployed. He faces another deployment in 2011 and it would be a dream if he could just stay home so we could focus on starting a family. However, I know this is what he has been called to do and I support him 100%. I will stand by him and wait for him patiently until he comes back again.
