Our love story.

I was looking for Mr. Right Now when I met Dannon two years ago. He caught me off guard and literally swept me off my feet after I'd accidentally stepped on some broken glass. He carried me across campus and propped me on my kitchen counter. I was so embarrassed of the circumstances, but he just smiled while he cleaned my wound. He sealed my bandages with a kiss and said, "Don't worry; I'm going to be a doctor." I knew then, cheesy line aside, that I was all his.

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

First, I am a first-generation Paraguayan American and he is New Orleans raised through and through. We want to honor our diversity with food from both world served at our reception. Secondly, since our families have never met, we want the wedding to be an intimate affair. It’s important that the guests know they are an integral part of our lives coming together. Finally, but most importantly, we want to get married in New Orleans. This city is where we first kissed, where he proposed, and is where we will say our ‘I dos.’ Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!

Our everyday dream day.

The Crimson Tide winning the National Championship was pretty close to being the best day ever, but it’s trumped by something even better. Our everyday dream day would be spent reliving our first date. We spent the day wandering the French Quarter, sipping on Louisiana brewed beer, before settling down on a bench in Jackson Square. We both remember feeling completely at ease as everything seemed to fall into place. Little was said out loud, because we both knew this was right. The sights and sounds (and even smells) of New Orleans set the scene for out beginning. Roll Tide!
