Our love story.
We met when Doug raised his hand, offering to give me a ride from Atlanta to Nashville. We laughed the entire trip. Not only did we know many of the same people, but we were headed to the same house. It took me a month to figure out how to get Doug out here. Our first date lasted 3 weeks and he moved to Colorado. One evening I asked what the plan was. I meant for the evening, but his response was, "to spend the rest of my life with you."
Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.
Because the people invited to our wedding are the people who will support us, we are inviting everyone to be in our "wedding party". There won't be a maid of honor or a best man, but many "best people of honor". We are holding our ceremony in our backyard, which needs a lot of work. The work that will go into it will last; like the marriage. I want my wedding day to be simple quality.
Our everyday dream day.
I look forward to many “boring” days with Doug. Just like that first trip from Atlanta to Nashville, we always make each other laugh until our sides hurt. We’ve been on 24 hour road trips and trips to the grocery store; I love each minute! It’s just perfect to marry your best friend.
