Our love story.

Gastric bypass patient and divorced dad of two children find love on Craigslist! After a year with over 165 lbs gastric bypass weight loss,life-threatening kidney condition, both of us losing our jobs through layoffs, we made it through stronger than ever. We each found our best friend, and although we don't have a lot of money, we have a lot of love (and triumph!). Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

Our ultimate wedding consists of three things: 1) making sure *we* plan it, so that each detail is meaningful and special 2) we're making a donation to both the National Kidney Foundation on behalf of our guests as our wedding favorsand 3) involving our family and close friends. I'm wearing my grandmother's veil from her wedding to my grandfather, which could not be more special to me. To us, the celebration of family is the most important thing for our wedding. :)

Our everyday dream day.

As corny as it sounds, every day IS a dream. We have the most open and direct communication, we're the best of friends, and we understand each other and give each other room to grow. While we don't have a lot of money, we have something that money can't buy: happiness. :)
