Crate and Barrel's Ultimate Wedding Contest

Our love story.

We met in June of 2007 and a month later found out I would be leaving the country for school. It was difficult to communicate across the ocean with a 6hr time difference & maintain the romance. It was a long period of late night phone calls and web-cam dates, but after 1.5yrs of distance we decided all the hard work was worth it. We went out for an evening at the orchestra and dinner at a bistro, where he popped the question over a bottle of wine.

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

Our wedding is a 2 day multi-faith and multi-cultural event. Our guests will attend a Hindu ceremony on Friday and Christian ceremony on Saturday evening. At our reception East & West will meet with southwestern Texas food and traditional Indian dishes. Indian dancers will welcome guests and start off the reception and from there guests will enjoy drinks and dancing throughout the evening.

Our everyday dream day.

Our dream day would start off with breakfast at our favorite cafe. Then we'd take our pups, Sam the lab & Jake the golden, to our favorite state park for a day of hiking and swimming where we would all share a picnic lunch. We'd return later in the day, make a nice dinner together, build a fire and share a bottle of wine.
