Crate and Barrel's Ultimate Wedding Contest

Our love story.

Since we first met at fifteen, we knew two things to be certain: we were crazy about one another and we didn’t live in the same town. Over the next twelve years, both remained a key part of our relationship. In high school, it was a two-hour train ride to be together. In College, it was a ten-hour car trip. And now, it’s a three-hour plane ride – New York to Indiana. As the distance between us has grown, so has our relationship. Above everything else, our wedding is exciting because we finally get to be together...in the same city!

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

Our parents were the ones who introduced us 12 years ago, so our fantasy wedding would have to start with our families. This means bringing in all of our relatives from across the country to celebrate this special day with us. The second most important aspect would have to be music. Both of our families and all of our friends love to dance, so we’d want a band that could keep up with us on the dance floor. And lastly, the food! We both love trying new and exotic food, so ideally our menu would reflect that.

Our everyday dream day.

Our dream day is very simple. Because we see each other only once a month, we’d spend the entire day inside rotating between the bed and the couch watching TV, only leaving for dinner (which would probably be sushi). That’s pretty much it.
