And They Danced

And They Danced

Our love story.

Once upon a time a ballroom instructor (Michael) met a ballet teacher (Rebekah). He asked her to dance and she said “yes.” The two became good friends and that one dance turned into many. They danced together and taught together for many days. Then one evening the ballroom instructor took the ballet teacher to a park where they had previously walked and talked and shared their dreams. The ballroom instructor took the hand of his beloved and knelt down on one knee. He asked her to marry him and she said “yes." And so begins their happily ever after . . .

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

The wedding. The beautiful day our forever begins. The wedding will be large, because there are so many special people that we would like to be able to celebrate with (including Rebekah's huge family) And yet it will be intimate and personal - a celebration, not a show. There will be beauty in a simple, shabby chic sort of way . . . a summer-y sort of family picnic affair. Lavender hydrangeas, mason jars, and plenty of sweet tea to go around. And there will be dancing. Lots of dancing. And much happiness.

Our everyday dream day.

We're about the most sappy, mushy, romantical couple you'll ever meet, so any day that we get to spend together is fabulous in our world. (And yes, we know that romantical isn't really a word.) Getting down to the details though, the things we most love doing together are dancing, cooking, and watching movies. Our perfect day would probably involve a picnic, a walk, and a random orchestra in the middle of a field, playing Sinatra music just for us - for dancing, of course. We would finish out the day with a simple meal and a good movie.
