Our love story.
The performance of my lion dance troupe brought us together for our first “hello”. A shy 14, I could barely mutter my name, letting her leave discouraged. 8 years passed and my best friend’s invite to play Texas Hold’em brought us together again. Feelings from our initial meeting still flowed and grew to love, but Mimi’s graduate studies in neuroscience led her down another path. Determined to not let her get away, again, I dropped it all and chased her to NYC. 1700 miles, a sporty cabrio and 807 days later, I slipped my great grandmother’s ring over Mimi’s finger.
Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.
We would love an intimate wedding that enables us to fully enjoy the time with each of the attending guests as all of them have played a key part of our lives. The scenic backdrop and wonderful smells of a winery would be a dream come true. Finally, our guests will gather to enjoy a scrumptious dinner culminating in the indulgence of a decadent red velvet cake.
Our everyday dream day.
A perfect day would start with a morning bike ride through town followed by a sunny hillside cruise to a great park or beach with tasty picnic treats in tow. Spending time with friends and family over a well prepared meal is always wonderful. Being able to sneak in a few games at the pool hall together (where I proposed) would be a great way to wrap things up.
