Our love story.

After 3 engagement years, 2 attempts at wedding planning, and 1 cancer-free groom, we’re ready to tie the knot!! We’re fellow Bruins who fell in love and were elated to start our life together. Wedding plans started in March 2007 but abruptly halted when Matt was diagnosed with leukemia. A year of chemo and Matt in remission, try #2 at plans for a May 2009 wedding. 3 months before the wedding, with all plans set, Matt relapsed and again, our wedding came second to leukemia. With a successful transplant last September, we are ready to finally say our I-do’s!

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

Given how long we’ve waited for this wedding, we’re just excited it’s finally happening! We’ve always wanted our wedding to be unique, personal, and fun - a big celebration of our love and LIFE, with all our family and friends. With all we’ve been through, we couldn’t have survived without the love of our family/friends, and want to share our special day with them. Being stretched so thin these past few years, we would love to hand off the arranging of the details to someone else and just show up to say, I do and I do too!

Our everyday dream day.

As cliché as it sounds, we’d spend our days laying out in the sun, eating, sipping cold drinks, and eating some more. Ideally, we would be laying under the sun somewhere outside the U.S.; we love traveling, although haven’t had much of a chance to do it.
