Crate and Barrel's Ultimate Wedding Contest

Our love story.

Once upon a time there was a princess and prince, and they were from two different Kingdoms. The prince was noble and brave and the princess was beautiful. Through storms of life they suffered, but with higher calling they pressed on. Then the prince decided after 6 years together, he would propose three months before sailing off to war. The princess knew there was not enough time or money for the ball of her dreams with two bachelor’s degrees under their belts, so she prayed for a gift, and along came Jo with her Crate and her Barrel!

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

Our ultimate wedding will be a black and white event fit for a king. We want to have all of our friends and family with us on a sandy beach in Clearwater, Florida with a group of children acting as little groomsmen and bridesmaids. However more importantly than anything in the world we would like our wedding day to have a “wow factor representation” that will leave an imprint on the minds and hearts of everyone that has anything to do with this special event; as it serves as the beginning of our reign together.

Our everyday dream day.

Our happily ever after includes taking pleasure in the little things, while not allowing the little or big things to consume our marriage. Although the prince will be away saving the world in service, the princess will be pursuing a master’s degree in speech pathology while enriching women’s lives. When we are together we will cook, play games, and relax while watching movies, or reading all nestled up together. Ultimately together we hope to exemplify the characteristics of a family set out to change lives in the world around us, beginning with ourselves.
