Our love story.

At a time when we both doubted our opportunities for love by saying “It isn’t going to happen to me”, an instant bond came through the shake of a hand at a friend’s wedding. A teacher in Minnesota and a police officer in Kentucky, we took every email, phone call, and flight opportunity we could to grow closer together. As we racked up the cell phone minutes, Facebook time, and frequent flyer miles, we both began to think, “It’s finally happening to me.”

Beyond our most important desire to marry each other’s best friend, our ultimate wedding ceremony would be along a dreamy oceanfront at sunset. All of our family and friends would be there to celebrate the beginning of our journey together. We would love for the night to be filled with great friends, great food, and great fun.

Our everyday dream is simple. To wake up each morning next to one another, and share in whatever successes, opportunities, or adversities we both experience. We look forward to the opportunity to grow old together, finally in the same location, hand in hand.
