Crate and Barrel's Ultimate Wedding Contest

Our love story.

We met working on a production of Christmas Carol. Jed played the Ghost of Christmas Future and Sarah's job was to assist the quick change into his costume. We were both smitten, immediately. Sarah was giddy when she realized she would be working with Jed every day in the magic of backstage and Jed adored her attempts to remain professional while he flirted with her. It did indeed prove magical as we spent more time together and began to date. Now every year, we go back on opening night to see the show where we fell in love!

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

Both of us are starving artists with big imaginations and we have so many ideas for an ultimate wedding day! But first we would love to be able have all our family and friends, who support our love and work, there on our wedding day. Another important detail for us would be trying to have a local and seasonal outdoor wedding. We love food and would love to highlight local cuisine, ingredients and merchants. Lastly, great music! We would love to have a band to help us dance the night away!

Our everyday dream day.

We feel so lucky to work in the arts and to have each other for support, but often have to spend time apart. Jed is currently on tour, so our perfect day would be any place where we could be together. We love to share places we have discovered while apart and places that have been important in our lives. A dream day would also have natural beauty and beautiful music. What we love about each other is our shared curiosity and desire to learn new things and see new places.
