Crate and Barrel's Ultimate Wedding Contest

Our love story.

We grew up on opposite sides of the country - Dave in Bellingham, WA and Julie in Scituate, MA but we have each lived lives full of a passion for the sport of yacht racing since we were children. We met 5 years ago teaching sailing in San Diego where we currently live and work in the yachting industry. We also coach race boats and their crew and train them to be faster and better performing. We are so fortunate that we are each other's best friend and favorite team-mate for life!!

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

We really want to show our friends and family from other parts of the country and the world our love for San Diego. This is the city where we met and have grown to love. We would love our day to be filled with a nautical theme but also a Southern California theme. We love sailing, seafood, wine, dancing, sunsets, etc.! Our dream day would be to dance the night away with our best friends and family on an ocean or bay side location!!

Our everyday dream day.

Spending a day with Dave and or dog Samson sailing to Catalina Island from San Diego and then camping there for the weekend. Campfires, hot dogs, sunsets, etc.! We are hoping to do this for our mini-honeymoon after our wedding.
