Our love story.

We began as coworkers, became friends, became confidants. Then he became my boss. I loved my job, but denial only went so far before I realized that loved him more, and so I changed my job. Only a couple weeks afterward, I was diagnosed with an 8 cm malignant breast tumor at the age of 29. Despite this very scary news, Mark inspired nothing but delirious joy from the beginning of our relationship and through much drastic treatment. I suspect that his love literally saved my life, and we are today happier and healthier than I could ever have imagined.

Three important details about our Ultimate Wedding.

Our wedding would take place in the Fall, with the leaves turning gorgeous colors and the air cool and calming. We would exchange our vows outdoors, ideally in a beautiful gazebo or in the midst of a garden. We've also become enamored of the Biltmore House in North Carolina, Angela's hometown, and have considered that as an "impossible dream" wedding site. But the most important details, of course, would be our devotion to each other and the friends and family who would celebrate it with us.

Our everyday dream day.

Since this is an "everyday" dream day and not a "perfect fantasy day," it would probably start with a wonderful breakfast of eggs benedict on the balcony. We'd then go for a walk around the lake, perhaps bringing our new dog for a jog with us (something we've been thinking about lately). We'd then spend some time catching up with family and friends, and cook a nice but simple dinner in the evening. But we're geeks, too, so the ideal day would probably wind down with us watching a sci-fi series or playing games together before bed.
