Our love story

Ryan and I met 5 years ago and instantly became friends...although he would argue that it was love at first sight for him. We've been there for each other through everything from college finals to new jobs (or job rejections), marathon training and stressful moves and only feel closer. He is truely my best friend, my confidant and the one I want to grow old with.

Three important details about our ultimate wedding.

Ryan and I are both Graduate students at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, which takes up most of our time and resources. We also both have big, dynamic, loving families that would make it impossible to leave anyone off the guest list. Because of this, our "Ultimate Wedding" would:
1) Take place on lake Michigan near Traverse City
2) Include all of our fabulous out-of-state aunts and uncles
3) Serve Michigan wine, have Michigan flowers and a table full of crate and barrel gifts!

Our ultimate dream home.

Ryan works for an alternative energy nonprofit in Detroit, and we are both passionate about overall sustainability, so given the opportunity, we would love to have an LEED certified home built. We love the modern-yet-back-to-nature look that personifies this type of home, and would furnish it with pieces like the CB mango wood Basque dining table, and the clean (sustainable) Asher bedroom line.
