Our love story
The first time I got down on one knee was the first morning of a ski trip to Vermont seven years ago. Never had I thought I'd ever show up on a vacation with someone I barely knew. I helped Larissa squeeze her foot into her boot and for both of us, our lives flashed in front of our eyes. I looked up at her, she looked down at me, and something clicked. Seven years later I got down on one knee again - this time at the top of the mountain promising to always be the one to buckle her boots.
Three important details about our ultimate wedding.
While we'd rather a more elegant affair, we don't want any structure - no regimented sit down dinner, just lots and lots of appetizers, cocktails, desserts, and freedom for our family and friends to eat, drink, and mingle. 2. We're hoping for a winter wedding, so lots of white and metallics, long gowns for the bridesmaids, with a sophisticated evening ambiance. 3. Years ago we decided that, instead of traditional wedding cake, we'd have croqembouche as our wedding dessert!
Our ultimate dream home.
We see our home as our sanctuary. Calm, cool colors, comfortable spaces with touches of sleek modern lines. Whites and woods that provide a clean foundation. Throw blankets with an intentional sense of casual sophistication. A bedroom that whispers "you're home". A kitchen fit for entertaining with practical gadgets and a simple presentation. An effortless flow between inside and outside exuding an airy elegance. Things that could, in due time, handle some little fingerprints.
