Our love story
We met when we were 15, but it wasn't until a party in 2004 where we would meet again.German, being as shy as he was, barely spoke.I remember saying to him was,"Is English your first language?".He laughed and said "No.".My best friend’s brother was/is his best friend. A few months later we began dating & now, 6 years later,at 25,we're still joined at the hip & cannot get enough of each other. Cliche as it sounds, we are each others' other half. We are each others' dream come true.
Three important details about our ultimate wedding.
We have been planning this event for four years now, thinking of ways to make it perfect for not only ourselves, but for our family. We decided on a Hybrid wedding with both our cultures. Our wedding has to tie in to both our traditions, accommodate all family members, and be the dream come true for us both. We love our culture and our family but also want the edge of our lives in the mix. The definition of us must shine through every aspect of our theme; our wedding must define us as a union.
Our ultimate dream home.
German and I have discussed time and again how our home would be. As first time home owners, we want a "fixer-upper." This way we could tear away the old and create the new. Our house would the canvas of our lives and personalities. German is an illustrator and will graduate from AAU in May. We decided to paint (according to gender)the Disney characters in our future child's room. All other rooms need their own theme. Like us, they'd each have their own personalities. This is our dream.
